Caramel Oolong

JinXuan teas are often nicknamed “milk oolong,” or NaiXiang(milk scented) in Chinese.  The cultivar originates in Taiwan, and has been popular decades.  This is because of the substantial creaminess of the liquor.  The notes are pleasant and comforting, not sharp.  Medium body with a fragrance of churned butter and shortbread. Caramel flavor with creamy, sweet milk and slight floral notes.  We consider milk oolong an excellent tea to pair with cakes and sweets. A lower temperature is preferred to keep the creamy flavor balanced. Suggested brew temp of 185 °F. Can be brewed multiple times. Contains flavoring.
