$21.00 – $84.00
Taiwan. Winner of awards at the North American Tea Championship in 2011 and 2012. This rare brandy oolong has notes of molasses, honey and maple syrup. The dry leaf has a fragrance of ground red pepper. Hot water transforms the nose into something more savory and miso-like. A tea that is deep amber in color and pointedly sweet in flavor, sans astringency or bitterness. Hotter water and longer steeping times will brew a more complex and spicier tea. Lower water temperature and shorter steeping times will brew a sweeter tea. Suggested brew temp of 194-203°F. Can be brewed multiple times.
